Hatyai University has received the #Winner Award of the Oscars of Higher Education in the Outstanding Contribution to Regional Development for the Times Higher Education Awards Asia 2024
The awards announcement ceremony was held at Sunway University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on April 29, 2024.

As the Better Thailand event was held, Assistant Professor Dr. Wittawat Didyasarin Sattayarak, the President of Hatyai University, received the plaque of honor “Honorable Mention Award” on the third aspect: applying knowledge, technology, innovation, and academic services in order to develop the local communities.
Also, the team advisor and the student representatives of “the Original Hatyai Fried Chicken Team”, comprised of students from Hatyai Business School (HBS) and Didyasarin International College (DRIC), who recently received the esteemed first runner-up position from “the Idea Generation Contest for Youth Volunteers to Create Creative Power (Soft Power) of Thailand,”

Hatyai University congratulates Miss Thanyarat Suchatpong, a second-year student of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Major in Occupational Health and Safety, on being selected to receive a scholarship from the Thai Trade Association (Southern Region) - Taiwan.
The Green River Group (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and the Thai Trade Association (Southern Region) - Taiwan organized a scholarship award ceremony for the academic year 2024.

for the publication of their research article titled "Enhancing the Strengthening Potential of Innovative Communities in Songkhla Province" in the Parichart Journal (TCI Group 1) (Volume 37, Issue 2, April-June 2024).

Hatyai University congratulates the lecturers and student receiving awards and scholarship provided by Association of Private Higher Education Institutions of Thailand (APHEIT) under the Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of the academic year 2023, the lecturers and student are namely:
