Rationale
Higher education institutions are important knowledge hubs for the country. In addition to their role in producing graduates for the national labor market, they are also responsible for developing and accumulating modern knowledge to be transmitted to society, particularly through the production of high-quality research for practical application and academic advancement. This is in line with the priorities of the national economic and social development plan, the strategic human resources, research, and innovation development plan, and the university development plan.
Hatyai University, a private higher education institution, is committed to developing the potential of students and the community. The university's goal is to produce graduates with knowledge, skills, as well as strong ethics and morality, while also supporting sustainable social development. The university emphasizes the use of technology and innovation to enhance teaching, learning, and research for sustainable development (SDGs). It recognizes the importance of developing personnel to continuously produce high-quality research, creating knowledge that will contribute to societal progress, and supporting academic services that provide a knowledge base for the community and society to advance in response to the global societal changes. The university also has policies to establish research networks with external agencies to produce high-quality research and creative works that meet the needs of communities and society, and to benefit the public. Furthermore, the university promotes and supports the dissemination of completed research works to increase exposure in academic circles and broaden the utilization of knowledge.
Therefore, Hatyai University is organizing the 17th National and International Academic Conference on Friday, May 15, 2026, as a platform for presenting and sharing research works. It will serve as an opportunity for researchers, academics, faculty members, students, and interested individuals to exchange knowledge and research experiences, leading to collaborations and academic advancement. The research papers presented at this conference will undergo quality academic evaluations by three experts from various institutions.
Objectives
The purposes of the conference are:
1. to be a stage for researchers, scholars, lecturers, and students to publicize academic work, and to exchange knowledge and research experiences.
