As the Chairman of University Council, I welcome all students into Hatyai University. Students will be proud to have the opportunity to study at Hatyai University, since the University has a philosophy of education that aims to provide students with knowledge, analytical thinking, and morality, while maintaining the common interests over the personal interests.

         I understand that most of students come from Southern Thailand. This region has a large quantity of natural resources providing a high potential for development. Unfortunately, the problem of unrest is causing a slowdown of development to the region. Therefore, please help our beloved South and restore it to normalcy with stability and sustainability.

         Study hard for your future, for our beloved region, for our beloved nation.
